Building a Reputation Over Years
Remont d.o.o Valjevo was established on February 8, 1965, as a social enterprise. It remains one of the rare companies that still operates successfully, now under the ownership of Teodosije Krstić. He acquired Remont by trading on the stock market with the sole desire to save it from decay and oblivion.
The company continues to operate under the same name, business registration number, and tax ID with which it was founded 58 years ago. It has maintained its service activities of vehicle repairs and maintenance, technical inspections, and registrations. Several of the original employees still work there. The only changes have been the relocation of its headquarters, modernization of technical inspections and maintenance, expansion of activities, and creation of a new modern environment compliant with the legal regulations of the Republic of Serbia.
Business Branch: Omni Center
Within the structure of Remont, which includes branches for technical inspections, there are two additional branches. One of these is the Omni Center, which engages in service-based sports, recreational activities, and hospitality. This branch was established in Knez Mihailova Street on the site of the former Kozara Milan Kitanović. Valjevo businessman and local patriot Teodosije Krstić has transformed a dilapidated, weed-overgrown area into one of the most beautiful parts of the city. It now features a hotel, event halls, sports facilities, a spa center, and a gas station. This has enhanced the area around the Gradac River, making it one of the most well-maintained parts of old Valjevo.
Business Branch: Valjevo Plus Television
Operating within Remont as a separate branch is Valjevo Plus Television, which started broadcasting on January 14, 2014. This marks a return to the beginning to preserve the memory of the Public Enterprise Regional Television Valjevo. This station was among the first electronic media in Serbia to be privatized. The initial privatization failed and was annulled by bankruptcy in 2012. In 2013, Teodosije Krstić purchased this media house from bankruptcy without any assets. He secured a new location, acquired the latest equipment, and after a trial broadcast in 2013, officially commenced operations on January 14, 2014.
Valjevo Plus Television holds REM licenses valid until 2024 for terrestrial and cable broadcasting. It is visible in Valjevo, Zvornik, Loznica, Krupanj, Ljubovija, Osečina, Koceljeva, Vladimirci, Uba, Mionica, Ljig, Šabac, and beyond. The program is also broadcast on the digital SBB network at position 391, visible throughout Serbia, and on the IPTV platform at position 585.
